Since the beginning of this year, Jiangsu Nanjing Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has adopted the E-ciq supervision and sampling inspection method for imported foods in accordance with the requirements of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. The inspection sampling volume has been greatly reduced, the customs clearance speed has been greatly improved, and the on-going inspection, side inspection, etc. Measures have promoted the import of chilled aquatic products. The salmon imported from the Nanjing port generally takes only two days from the importing country to the public table. The freshness can be greatly assured.
