The world's first sustainable SEA organic aquatic food system to develop organic seafood market

2017-01-18

Canada Shunjing will develop the first commercial SEA organic aquatic food system in western Canada. After more than a decade of research and development, the system focuses on the development of an organic seafood market that has tremendous growth potential in North America and around the world. The completion of this project will be the world's first sustainable organic ecosystem.

It is understood that the founder of the project is Dr. Stephen, who has 28 years of experience in global aquaculture. He has completed the research and development of SEA system in the past 5 years and has conducted operational tests on method, system design/engineering supervision, and achieved considerable success. Dr. Stephen is also a consultant to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and a member of the International Marine Exploration Council's Aquaculture Working Group.

What is the god of the SEA system?

The SEA system differs from traditional marine farming in the design of sustainable development and production. The highlights of its system are mainly reflected in the following three aspects.

First, the ecological structure of multiple varieties

Based on the principles of the ecosystem, the SEA system uses the integrated multi-variety ecological complementation approach as the basis for the entire ecosystem. This is different from most existing single species marine farms. The organic waste produced by bare-headed fish (or other high-value marine fish species) in the system is the only feed. These fertilizers, which were originally dissipated in the ocean, will be absorbed and digested by three other products in the system: shellfish (the first SEA fishery permit includes: scallops, clams, and shellfish), sea cucumbers and sea urchins, and kelp ( Used to solve inorganic nutrients)

Second, reduce carbon emissions

Carbon reduction is one of the most critical environmental issues today. SEA Green Aquatic Products Production System promotes sustainable ecological farming methods using sustainable energy. Focus on combining wind, solar, tidal, and micro-hydropower to reduce dependence on traditional fuels. \

Third, in line with organic marine aquatic product certification

The Canadian General Standards Council recently approved an organic management regulation for aquaculture. The project company has made a significant contribution to the development of these standards as the Pacific Organic Seafood Association (POSA). Organic certification standards address many other environmental issues related to aquaculture, including the formulation of foods, the use of antibiotics and other chemicals, and animal welfare. The policy further supports SEA's goal of achieving sustainable development, and also provides standards for market-based organic aquatic products, which guarantees the success of the project in segmentation of target markets.

current situation

Through the early demonstration and trial operation, the first SEA breeding site has the infrastructure needed to immediately start commercial production and transform into a new engineering design, ready for the development of the enterprise.

Assets include:

1. The government-issued farms with a field area of 15 hectares (right to use/lease)

2. Commercial production license for bare-headed fish, sea cucumber, sea urchin (red/green), scallops, mussels (blue), oysters, clams and kelp (kelp, seaweed)

3. A 17-cart Yulei production system, shellfish preliminary production area (new), kelp net, maintenance waterway, working floating board, boat and on-site staff accommodation.

The project has received active support from the Canadian government and the Canadian government will provide some financial support for the project. There are also two suitable sites in the immediate vicinity of the first site. In future developments, the three sites will collectively become SEA farming clusters, resulting in additional economies of scale operations.

market

The target market for the project is high-end organic marine products. Seafood produced through SEA system operations will be certified as organic. Through preliminary trial runs, the successful sales of the North American and Asia Pacific markets with high demand for such products in Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Tokyo were successfully completed. These markets will be further developed when commercial capacity is established.

Investment and capital use

SVG is looking for investors to acquire its stake in the corresponding value in Kyuquot Seafood Co., Ltd., the first SEA product management company in Western Canada. KSL (Kyuquot SEA Video Co., Ltd.) now owns the first farm site and all the assets listed above. This unique location has the advantage of launching a commercial activity once the working capital is obtained. Dr. Cross will stay with the company to guide commercial development and retain its position as an internal shareholder.

There are two options for investing:

Option 1: A joint development program with an investment of 3.5 million, accounting for 66.7% of the shares (for two immigrants), initial infrastructure construction, fry purchase and operation of the first SEA farm until positive cash flow occurs. At this time, we will receive 1.5 million yuan from the Canadian government after providing a capital commitment of 3.5 million yuan. Further attractive investment will allow the construction of a SEA food-specific hatchery and two additional SEA farms. This combination will produce an appropriate level of vertical integration, significantly improving operational efficiency, thereby reducing production costs and increasing profitability. 4 years of profitability (all data industries are based on experimental sales in the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, Canada and 4 countries and regions, and adopted the most conservative data).

Option 2: Invest 1.5 million to buy out all the shares, develop on their own, if you need technical support, you can cooperate with the current technical team.
