60 famous stores in the famous fishery market in South Korea were destroyed and lost more than 3 million yuan

At 2:29 am on the 15th, a fire broke out in the Lishui aquatic product market in Lishui City, Jeollanam-do, South Korea. Nearly 60 shops were burned and property losses amounted to 520 million won (about RMB 3.0267 million).


After the fire broke out, the local fire department quickly dispatched 227 firefighters and 23 fire-fighting equipment to the scene for treatment. As of 4:24 am on the same day, the fire has been completely extinguished. Because the fire was at 2 o'clock in the morning, fortunately, no casualties were caused. At present, police and firefighters have initially ruled out the possibility of arson after on-site investigation.


Lishui Aquatic Products Market is the most representative aquatic product market in Lishui. It is located near Lishui Ferry Terminal and has 2-3 thousand visitors every day. It is one of the famous tourist destinations in Korea.
