This year is the first year of Lianyungang's import of aquatic products from the country along the “Belt and Road”. The data shows that Pakistan has become a new growth pole for imported aquatic products on the shore of Lianyungang.

It is understood that the main imported Pakistani aquatic products are frozen large yellow croaker, frozen white gull, frozen three-toothed fish, frozen squid, frozen Japanese golden thread fish, frozen tongue squid, frozen squid, frozen squid, frozen bamboo scorpion, frozen snail , frozen shrimp, frozen salmon and so on.

The inspection and quarantine department is mainly striving to promote the development of cold chain logistics of port aquatic products from two aspects: on the one hand, conscientiously implement the full supervision of the three steps of “pre-import, import and post-import” of imported aquatic products to ensure the quality and safety of imported aquatic products. Do a good job in consulting services for quarantine examination and approval of imported aquatic products, and improve the one-time pass rate and approval speed of quarantine examination and approval;

On the other hand, increase the testing of new laboratory testing projects, open up green channels for imported aquatic products, prioritize testing, and shorten laboratory testing cycles.
